On Saturday afternoon I visited the Maison Europeenne de La Photographie in the Le Marais district to see the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition. It was incredible. Not only can the man produce multiple amazing fashion shows annually, his collection of travel and fashion photography dating back to the early eighties was breathtaking. His shots of NYC and Versailles were haunting. Also on display was a series by Tania and Vincent (no last names mentioned) titled "Consumation. Consommation de luxe dans Citizen K". This exhibit was a showcase of work done for Citizen K magazine that satirized haute couture. I left having spent a mere four euros for what has been one of the greatest highlights of my time in Paris so far.
(Above silhouette is the one Karl pic I was able to photograph).
