These were the few details I knew about Charlotte before watching her perform at the Vogue last night at the beginning of her first-ever tour. What I know now is that she is lovely. Her lyrics were beautiful and her voice was so soft while also capable of impressive range. She played a chilling cover of Dylan's 'Like a Woman', and finished with her dad's 'Couleur Café', but it was her own songs in between that were the real treat. They were smart, and haunting, and fun, and delicate, and dance-able at different moments and sometimes all at the same time. Also- her pants were very, very cool.
